Someone really smart once said “nothing lasts forever”…and although he was wrong when it came to the never ending college debt we’d accrue, or the amount of laundry I’d do over the span of 23 years. This quote was spot on for me and my short lived modeling career.
My downfall wasn’t that I wasn’t the right height or the right size, or that I wasn’t pretty enough. I stand a whopping 5’5 (5’8 in good heels) long legs that I use to fake the extra height. A small waist, high cheek bones and blah blah blah. simply put, I didn’t have the passion for it. Modeling for most young girls seems like a dream job, but for me it turned out to be more of a hobby. Hearing all your life “You should be a model!” Did strike my curiosity Although I am grateful that I got to try it and meet some pretty incredible people, it wasn’t realistic for me and my future.
This was a short and simple post, still hope you enjoyed my little ramble.
